Art with a Heart, Arts for the Community is the inspiration of Karen Wroe, a local artist based in Altrincham.
Art with a Heart opened their doors to the General Public on September 23, 2012 in a previously empty unit, known as Chisnalls in the heart of the Market Quarter on Shaws Road. It has gone from strength to strength.
A not for profit organisation, its mission is to make arts more accessible to a wider audience, to support emerging artists and to contribute to the regeneration of the high street. It also helps raise funds and awareness for the local charities using the arts and exhibitions.
Art with a Heart charity of choice is Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT). It is a local children’s charity, based in Cheshire, providing holidays and respite for terminally ill, disabled, sick and under privileged in the North West of England. They were the first recipient of the funds raised from the art exhibition with ’Around the World in 80 Artists’.
Website hosted by Dashes n Dots and designed by Karen Wroe.
