As part of this years entry for Altrincham in Bloom, Art with a Heart is hosting a ‘Paint or draw a Sunflower’ Competition and asking children in the local community to get creatively involved.
There are two levels of entry – Children under 7 and Children 7 and over. Work will be put on display either in Art with a Heart or in an empty unit in the Town Centre. The Messenger have agreed to judge the entries.
The work is to be of a sunflower – representing our going for gold theme. It is to be on no more than A4 in size. Work can either be created in Art with a Heart in the Children’s Activity area, at school or at home. We will need each piece to have the contact details of the parent/guardian/school teacher on the reverse. On the front we will require the name and age of the child.
You have until July 6th to drop off work to Art with a Heart. Judging and display of the work will be organised after this date. Work will be displayed alongside our Altrincham Open 2014 Aurora Borealis exhibition.
